Your tasks include (but are not limited to):

• Drive Awareness and Perception of Think and Idea Brand into the defined markets
• Drive country launch plans
• Drive quarterly demand generation campaigns to boost sales out
• Drive Country segment Marketing plans

Alliances:
• Cooperate with Alliance Partners
• Drive End-to-end Alliance programs/campaigns
• Develop Alliance fund maximization

Marketing Controlling:
• Marketing funding mgmt (expense tracking and accrual process as well as alliances fund process)

Working closely with the MEA Marketing team as well as the MEA segment Business Unit and Country Marketing and Sales teams.


• Bachelor's Degree in marketing or business, and 7-10 years related marketing experience
• Strong experience with SMB & Retail and the ability to drive sales with creative marketing ideas and strategies
• Solid understanding of brand strategy and its relationship to the overall customer experience
• Proven track record with driving campaigns and experience with a variety of consumer-oriented marketing channels (direct mail, print advertising, etc)
• Experience in marketing relations in a multicultural environment
• Good knowledge of technology industry, in particular PC market                                                          
• Experience of coordination of multiple countries is recommended
• Ability to drive sales with creative marketing ideas and strategies
• Robust analytical abilities and experience with interpreting large amounts of customer and financial data
• Strong Business and Process oriented

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt-3241

Description

 
GENCO ATC has an immediate opening for a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt will be engaged in managing Lean/Six Sigma projects, Lean “Learn by Doing” Training, Coaching and Mentoring facility Lean Process Managers, and Championing Lean methodology across the organization. This position can be a home based position or located in one of GENCO ATC’s facilities in Canada.
 
The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is responsible for:
  • Managing business-wide, cross-functional Lean Six Sigma projects as directed
  • Advocating Lean methodology and tools across the business
  • Coaching team members in their projects using Lean methodology
  • Leading and executing high impact process improvement projects utilizing statistical tools
  • Perform the following internal consulting services to the satisfaction of our clients: Process mapping, Value stream mapping, process design, methods development, establishing performance standards/metrics, ROI analysis and project management
  • Stimulating management thinking by tactfully challenging conventional wisdom through the demonstration of the application of Lean Six Sigma
  • Presenting data and solutions to Customers, both internal and external

Qualifications

 
The successful candidate will have:
  • A BA/BS degree in Logistics or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience in multiple supply chain functions
  • Five (5) plus years of Project Management experience
  • Two (2) plus years of lean/ six sigma experience
  • Documented completion of three (3) projects with demonstrated success and proven financial results which exceeded $300,000 in savings
  • Technical competencies in: Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, process management, change management and advanced statistical techniques
  • Experience coaching and delivering training at all levels of an organization
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Minitab and Visio
  • Proven success interacting with internal and external customers
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills are required
  • Ability to identify critical paths and execute
  • Previous experience interacting/presenting with senior management both internally and externally
  • Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification preferred
  • Ability to travel over 60%

Syncrude is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering student to work at our world class Research Center in Edmonton, Alberta. This student will work with us on our equipment reliability program under the direct supervision of professional engineers. In the past, experience gained in this position has qualified for the APEGGA experience requirement. 
 
Activities may include:
  •  Assistance with testing and operating our pump and gearbox condition monitoring facilities in Edmonton, Alberta.
  •  Support on site field test programs at our Fort McMurray operation with other Research staff.  Equipment that we work with includes heavy  haulers, shovels, centrifuges, slurry pumps, gearboxes, conveyors and others.
  •  Installation and calibration of: Accelerometers, strain gauges, proximity sensors, LVDTs
  •  Perform Finite Element Analysis in support of failure analysis work.
  •  Data collection, analysis, report writing and presentation of results from our research activities.
  •  Literature review of current and past research activities and advancement in oil sands operation.
  •  Support a collaborative, innovative and team environment through good ideas and active participation.

Qualifications

 
  • Students must be enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program (3rd year preferred)
  • Available for an 8 work term starting in January 2012
  • Strong technical abilities
  • Interest in working in a research and development environment
  • Good computer skills especially in MatLab, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and a win-win attitude
