Quality Assurance Representative for IAI North America

IAI North America is looking to contract a Quality Assurance Representative for the P30 Wing at Spirit (Gulf Stream-280 Aircraft) in Tulsa Oklahoma. Job description and qualified candidate requirements are:


Job Description
•To act as an IAI quality assurance and inspection representative in the Spirit Tulsa Facility.
•Facilitate corrective and preventative actions to Supplier Quality related issues by performing root cause analysis.
•Regulatory Agency (FAA/CAAI) interaction including wing preparation for regulatory agency inspection.
•Drive Continuous Improvements (CI) of business processes and procedures to improve Products and Services delivered to our Customers as measured by Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
•Provide management and leadership for the site Quality group.
•Ensure quality complaints are addressed, responded to and closed in a timely manner and that root cause investigation is performed and corrective and preventative actions implemented.
•Co-ordinate regular process audit reviews both internal and external (vendors) to ensure compliance to required specifications.
•Serve as site Customer interface and manage Customer source inspection requirements ensuring appropriate and timely notifications/request and inspection outcomes.
•Lead for Quality achievement.
•Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control methodologies and techniques for support/guidance to organization as required.
•Identify and facilitate relevant Quality-related and workmanship standards training requirements.
•Collect and analyze performance data and charts.
•Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product design and configuration changes are investigated as necessary.
•Perform and facilitate audits of processes, products.
•Monitor product field performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
•Write, distribute or present technical Quality management system reports.

Requirements:
•10 -15 experience of quality experience in aircraft or wing and aircraft parts assembly and manufacturing.
•Capable of performing root cause investigation
•Excellent communicator, creative, data driven with good interpersonal, mentoring and negotiating skills.
•Baccalaureate degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
•Professional Quality Certifications equivalent to American Society of Quality (ASQ) Auditor or Manager preferred.
•Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) and reporting
•Experience with Supplier Quality Management

Highly qualified candidates will have:
•Experience managing Quality Assurance operation for a plant, division, or company.
•Experience in establishing and maintaining a positive relationship with resident Customer Quality Assurance.
•Working knowledge of materials and modern manufacturing techniques.
•Demonstrated Experience using tools/methodologies such as; lean, 5S, Kaizan, Six Sigma, Process/Product.

QA Auditing Director- International Food Program

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assure International facility(s), including suppliers, vendors, and shops meet all requirements related to product safety as related to HACCP, Food Safety standards, and product quality
• Develop and maintain systems to assure compliance to all QA requirements including Document Control and Records, Specifications, Verification, Product Identification Trace and Recall, Incident Management, Food Safety Fundamentals
• Train and maintain International personnel on SOP and quality requirements. Document and maintain improvements for all employees at the manufacturing, vendor, and various locations
• Provide guidance and leadership in situations where deviations have occurred or a potential risk has been identified related to food safety and/or quality attributes
• Approves suppliers, plants and vendors and oversees International plant(s) compliance and interactions with Quality Assurance
• Conduct audits, and implement and reassessing quality systems review process (QSR), standard operating procedures (SOP's), incoming ingredient inspections, product sourcing, and documentation

The qualified candidate will have:

• Minimum of BS Degree in Food Science or Food Chemistry
• Knowledge of International regulations and food safety programs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• 2 years experience in QC/QA with a major food company
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
