ACDI/VOCA currently has approximately 103 projects in 40 countries and revenues of $140 million.
Chief of Party, Jordan
We are currently seeking Chief of Party (COP) candidates for an upcoming five-year USAID project in Amman, Jordan, focused on competitiveness, business-enabling environment, workforce development, and access to credit in the ICT, biotech, and clean-technology sectors. The position is contingent upon ACDI/VOCA being awarded the program.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide overall technical leadership and administrative supervision for large, multidisciplinary economic growth project
  • Serve as the primary liaison with USAID
  • Ensure effective communications to numerous stakeholders and participants
  • Supervise and ensure project compliance oversight and quality assurance for all activities, including budgeting and monitoring and evaluation
  • Supervise staff and oversee the project’s monitoring and evaluation system
  • Prepare and submit reports as required by USAID and ACDI/VOCA



Qualifications


  • Master’s degree in business or public administration required
  • Ten years’ experience as project director, team leader or chief of party
  • Demonstrated and positively referenced experience working on multidisciplinary, multisectoral private sector economic growth projects and initiatives
  • Excellent English-language written and oral communication skills required
