Chief of Party, Haiti
We are currently seeking a Chief of Party for an upcoming USAID-funded, multi-year agricultural development project in Haiti. The position will be contingent on ACDI/VOCA being awarded the program.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership management and general technical direction of the entire project.
- Serve as a representative for the project, liaising with international donors, representatives from the government of Haiti, and other relevant project partners.
- Identify issues and risks related to program implementation in a timely manner and suggest appropriate program adjustments.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in agricultural economics, agronomy, business administration or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 10 years’ overseas experience in a field capacity is required.
- Prior Chief of Party experience on USAID-funded projects focusing on value chain, agribusiness and/or rural development is required.
- Chief of Party or overall experience working in Haiti is required.
- Familiarity with USAID procedures and policies is required.
- Proven track record of building relationships with governmental organizations as well as private sector and community organizations is required.
- Established track record of achieving results within difficult working environments.
- Fluency in both English and French is required; proficiency in Haitian Creole is strongly preferred.
