Job Description:
Getting a bit nervous about the oil climate here, Saudi is steaming ahead and is looking for many  Project Engineers.  In addition to a large base salary it can be tax free!

Position Description Successful candidate will be expected to: Experience with design, construction, project controls and safety for Oil & Gas Facilities and related Projects. Plan, schedule and provide work direction as required for preparation designs, possess reports, correspondence and related data and assurance the efficiency, adequacy and conformance of overall objectives of all phases of very complex engineering problems. Formulate the dosing basis by collecting, analyzing information and date relative to operating requirements, process economic considerations and such other pertinent factors as may be involved as a preliminary step in support of proposals for new construction modification or maintenance to equipment. Dosing or study modification to gas processing, gas handing and utility facilities , Occasionally called upon to design related aspects of new faculties of the type mentioned . Participate in construction activities, pre-commissioning, commissioning and function test activities for the new projects. Follow and inspect the construction progress of assigned projects assuring conformance with design specifications, codes and standard, recommend or confirm design changes material and equipment substitutes. Review design packages and capital projects. Interface with the Project Management Teams (PMT) Consulting Services & Inspection Departments, capital project contractors, equipment manufacturers and Saudi Aramco proponents. Perform a variety of related work such as initiating reports, correspondence and faxes relative to assigned projects, assembling performance date and conduction studies relative to the development procumbent or adaptation of equipment , interpreting the mining and application of codes and standards, reviewing operating procedures and safety instruction, acting and safety instructions, acting as technical consultant on operating problems. Assist other engineers in the solution of problems outside their specialty.
SELECTION CRITERIA: EDUCATION: B.S. Engineering. Experience Nine (9) years preferably in the oil industry or similar process industry, such that the incumbent is clearly recognized as an expert in the field.

HBS specializes in service of critical building systems, including mechanical, lighting, building envelope, solar, and other energy management upgrades.
  
An opportunity exists for a talented finance professional to be the District Finance Leader for HBS operations in Saudi Arabia. You will be a business partnering with the District General Manager in leading, coordinating and driving financial performance for the District. This position reports to the CFO.
 
Other responsibilities include: 
  • Defining, developing and proactively improving processes that will enhance the financial performance of the District
  • Timely completion of reporting including: Monthly Highlights Report, Monthly Financial Report, variance Analysis Pack and Monthly Operating Reviews
  • Driving and tracking business productivity initiatives across multiple functions to achieve productivity targets
  • Setting business targets to achieve the financial plans and forecasts.
  • Advising business leadership of opportunities and risks impacting business performance
  • Implementing process improvements to reduce finance business process cycle times, improve financial forecast quality, and enhance information provided to leadership for business decisions.
  • Reviewing large project quotations and partner business on potential Financing requirements
  • Conducting quarterly balance sheet reviews with Controllership
  • Supporting Controller's department on internal and external audit requests
  • Completing special and ad-hoc projects as requested to support business need
 

Qualifications

 
  • CIMA/ACA/CPA qualified with 5 years of experience and post qualification experience
  • Excellent analytical skills - experience with Project Accounting preferred
  • Strong leadership, mentoring and people management skill
  • Comfortable working in a high pressure environment and to tight deadlines
  • Strong work ethic, with hands on approach
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to interact successfully with a geographically diverse management team
  • Ability to drive process improvements in a global environment
  • Ability to communicate financial data to non-financial people
  • Self motivated, flexible and  results oriented

Our client a leading manufacturer of separation and produced water technology require the need to find a process engineer with the ability to lead process functions from offices in Saudi Arabia.
With new contracts just being issued in excess of $1.5million for the next year now is the time our client is expanding heavily for technical and commercial staff.
Originally based out of Houston our client has long term contracts in place with oil majors and EPC's across the Americas, Middle East and Europe. With excellent state of the art testing facilities and assembly shops available for technical issues they really are ahead of the field.
The role:
  • To be the technical focal point for process activities across the Middle East
  • Reporting into the Regional Manager you will be working closely together to develop both technical products and clients in Saudi.
  • Working on existing accounts that have been developed, one of which is with one of the largest oil majors across the Middle East.
  • To assist the sales force with technical presentations on a regular basis
To be considered for the role you must have the following attributes:
  • Chemical engineering degree or equivalent
  • Experience of working with either produced water or separation technology
  • Experience within the Middle East would be preferred
    Experience of leading process activities within the upstream market

We are looking for a Project Manager in Saudi Arabia.
 
The role
 
Lead the project core team to deliver the project safely, to time, to cost and quality. Improve the project margin against that set at "As Sold" Blue Book. Fulfill Customer expectations.  Motivate and mentor team members to create an effective/efficient working unit.
 
Ensure the project is launched correctly and thereafter monitor and control scope change. Maximise risk provision and contingency to margin. Develop a robust margin enhancement plan.
 
Your responsibilities 
  • Customer- Establish and  maintain a high level of customer satisfaction whilst operating within Bombardier established policies, procedures and commercial guidelines. Report Customer satisfaction monthly.
  • Margin - Generate Project Margin stability to meet As Sold Blue Book mandate requirments , together with a robust margin enhancement program to demonstrate an improving margin trend. Utilise risk management through monthly proactive functional risk reporting. Maximise risk provision & contingency to margin.
  • Use of Standard Process (incl Reporting) - Implement Core Project Management skill areas of  Cost , Scope, (including change management), Time and Risk Management together with secondary skill areas of Integrated Project Management , Scope, Communications, Procurement, Quality, Human Resources.
  • Safety & People - implement a Project specific Safety Management Plan Incl suppliers) to ensure safety hazards are as low as reasonably practical and that zero lost time accidents occur  Generate evident of Project Safety Best Practise.
  • Motivate & Mentor - Create a highly motivated working unit by managing all direct reports including PM Pitts,  Planning, Contracts,Procurement, Quality, Engineering, etc to improve individual capabilities as well as team work.
  • Supplier  Management - manage both SBG , BT & supplier interfaces at site to ensure a successful project outcome during Procurement, Installation & Testing & Commissioning Phases.

Qualifications

 
  • B.Sc. in Engineering or Business, MBA preferred, or equivalent.PMI Certification is a plus.
  • Five years of technical/engineering or equivalent business plus at least 5 years of project management and 5 years E&M installation experience.
  • Evidence of successful project delivery.
  • Working knowledge in developing and administering resource plans and budgets. 
  • Knowledge of and experience with risk and opportunity assessment tools and in cost recovery management. 
  • Experience and knowledge of Project Management skills, including processes and procedures, customer interface, schedule management, scope management, commercial management, personnel administration, and negotiation.
  • Candidates must be fluent in English and Arabic will be an advantage.
  • MS Office Package, MS Project, Working knowledge of Primavera
