The IRC has posted an opening for a Goma-based Provincial Operations Coordinator who provides leadership to operations units and ensures coordination between programs and operations units in North Kivu. This includes the development, updating, and monitoring of operations plans that integrate security, logistics, administration, and finance support services. The primary focus of the Provincial Operations Coordinator is to produce quantifiable improvements in the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of services provided by the Goma operations units through direct leadership and staff capacity development. The Provincial Operations Coordinator supports and reports to the North Kivu Head of Office and assumes Head of Office functions when required. The position directly supervises four positions (Logistics Coordinator, Administrator, Security Officer and Field Manager). REQUIRES: Candidates will need a degree or equivalent experience in operations or a similar field and at least 3 years of international management experience, ideally in Africa, supervising program support services (administration, finance, logistics and security). He/She will need the ability to think strategically, solve daily problems at the same time, strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Will need to demonstrate systems and process analysis skills and experience in developing strong monitoring and evaluation systems.
